I was in somewhat of a state of limbo some years ago when I first went to a NELFPC Exhibit. I had been shooting with a large format camera for years, all of it being color work. I suppose I was not as active because of a young family & a hundred year old house needing plenty of attention. It was this first exhibit & an opportunity to speak with some of the core members of NELFPC that opened up my interest in photography once again. Joining the group pushed me to accomplish a goal every photographer should experience, to produce my work from start to finish in a traditional Black & White darkroom. This was an essential part of seeing my own vision & a very rewarding experience.

I find this group of like minded photographers plays a crucial part in keeping traditional photography & its techniques alive.
