Laszlo Perlaky

Laszlo Perlaky is a Baylor faculty member at Texas Children´s Cancer Center during the week and an avid nature photographer on the weekends. He was born and raised in Hungary and traveled throughout Europe, Japan, and the USA, finally settling with his family in Houston, TX in 1990.

His high affinity towards both the natural environment and the camera helped him pursue photography and gradually perfect his craft. At the present time, he uses 4x5 and 8x10 large format cameras, scans his films, optimizes them and produces archival pigment ink prints.

He is member of several national and international photographic organizations and loves to teach photography. He won several prestigious awards in national and international photography contests, published his images in magazines, books, and calendars, exhibited his work on group and solo exhibitions and successfully participated on Art Festivals.

Laszlo’s Monochrome portfolios are part of his visual experiment to show the beauty of our fragile natural world and the high resolution fine details, forms, shapes, tones, contrasts, depth, create a realistic but sometimes imaginative series of photographs.

His limited edition photographs, signed and numbered by the artist, are available for sale.
